IED is an ultra-clean, incredibly streamlined, updated
version of Steve Cook's original classic effect.

The slim, leather ID wallet is openly displayed, and all that is visible
within is a single envelope and a Duke University business card.

Spectator, in the fairest manner, decides on one single playing card.

At the climax, the wallet is opened, and the envelope is removed.

The envelope is then opened, and one face-down
playing card is cleanly removed from within.

The single card is now shown, front and back, and seen
to match the participant's thought-of card.

No gimmicked cards are used in the effect.

The wallet and envelope can be left in full view throughout the entire routine.
