The dragon statue along with a miniature deck of Bicycle cards are displayed.

Three cards are freely chosen by a spectator and returned to the deck which is then shuffled

The deck is then placed into the lower houlette that the dragon holds.

One by one, the cards are removed from the lower houlette and passed before
the dragon's eye and then dropped into the upper houlette.

As this is happening, the spectator can call, “stop” at anytime they wish.

When stop is called, the card being held in front of the dragon's
eye is turned around and it is one of the selected cards!

This is repeated two more times and the cards stopped at
are the very same ones selected by the spectator!

The Golden Dragon is based on a classic effect by Jack Hughes.
